"Monitor" was the Newsletter of the U.K Atari Computer Owners Club. Although this went on to become a well respected glossy colour magazine in the UK, its beginnings were a little more humble! Here I show a late issue of "Monitor" (Issue 19 from the late 80's) alongside Issue 1 which wasn't actually called "Monitor" at that time. Issue 1 was a photocopied hand cut and pasted offering which I assume didn't go out to many people. Indeed, in all the years I was buying and selling magazines, I have only ever seen a single copy of Issue 1. For that reason, I am assuming that Issue 1 is very rare.
